Cable Car celebrates its 25th year in the industry.
Since 1992, Cable Car has been a staple name in the bar and restaurant industry, being one of the pioneer resto bars existing in Metro Manila, serving millions of customers with impeccable service and crave-worthy food. Cable Car is well-known to several generations of loyal customers for its San Francisco pub ambiance as well as Beer Pong tournaments.
This year, Cable Car celebrates its 25th year anniversary. It’s been a rewarding year so far as they partnered with equally established brands and companies like Miss Earth 2017 held just this November, various Golf tournaments in the country, the PBA Draft Combine 2017 held last October and Cable Car being the Official Restobar of the PBA.
Also early this year, Cable Car was featured in some of the best publications including PAL’s Mabuhay Magazine last April and May, as well as Primer Philippines lifestyle magazine and Business World newspaper.
Adding to the long list of their proud accomplishments this year is their partnership with the biggest brands in the Bar industry like PMFTC/Marlboro, to whom they maintain a regular partnership with; Premier Wines and Spirits, Redbull, Heineken, Hennessy, Emperador Distillers, and San Miguel which is their current exclusive partner for Cable Car’s Beer Pong Tournaments.
As part of the 25th year celebration, they officially released their new food menu featuring all new dishes and new takes on some Cable Car classics that we’re already known for. The menu’s development was in line with Cable Car’s decision to cater bigger market beyond their very healthy nightlife to further encapsulate their new marketing slogan, “It’s Home”.
The new food menu was conceived with the help of Chef Paolo Gutierrez, Culinary consultant and CEO of TrainRight who’s also a very established chef in the food and beverage industry with previous affiliations with IHOP Philippines, Applebee’s Philippines, Makati Shangri-la Hotel, and Global Restaurant Concept, Inc. Aside from the introduction of their new food menu, they also announced that two of their Metro Manila branches (Ortigas and BGC) also just recently opened for Breakfast and Lunch (6 AM onwards).
With that, they will be offering an all-day and all-night Cable Car Rice Bowls on all branches which include the usual Breakfast staples – Longganisa Rice Bowl and Tocino Rice Bowl. They also have Spanish Sardines Rice Bowl, Bangus Belly Rice Bowl, Burger Steak Rice Bowl, Spam Rice Bowl and from Cable Car’s Starters the Beer Battered Bacon Rice Bowl and Crispy Fried Tapa Rice Bowl. They currently have a Breakfast & Lunch Promo available from Monday to Friday, 6AM to 2PM, where you can get the rice bowls for 158-pesos and 188-pesos with a free cup of coffee!
Since they are also well-known for their pizza, most especially the All-meat Heart Breaker Pizza, they introduced a new and unique Tinapa Salted Egg Pizza and BBQ Chicken Pizza. New shape, new flavors, but you will still have the 25-year-old recipe sauce base and pizza dough that is handmade every morning in all branches! Grab the Buy 1 Take 1 promo on all Pizzas available every day from opening to closing for the whole month of November.
My favorite food so far are the Cable Car Wings, Salted Egg Pasta (a must-try!), Sisig Rice, Crispy Fried Tapa, and of course, their best-selling Sisig. I love the ambiance, very chill and Instagram-worthy. I would definitely bring the squad here.
Expect more upgrades this 2018 such as 24/7 operations and deliveries. With the consecutive openings of our Iloilo branch, Clark branch, and our upcoming Eastwood branch, expansion is very aggressive. With the number of investors coming in, expect to see more Cable Car resto bars around. For more details and latest promos, follow them on Facebook.
