A day filled with food, music and moments brought us by McCormick Philippines and F&B Report.
After last year’s success, McCormick hosted another Flavor Nation Festival last May 28 featuring Tex-Mex-Filipino and off the grill flavors showcasing the dishes created by the four best chefs in the business – Chef Francis’ Curry Fried Chicken, Chef AJ’s Cajun Shrimp and Corn, Chef Mikel’s Kare-Kare with Bagoong Glaze, and Chef Patrick’s Sloppy Joe Bao.
The first 500 guests who registered at the event got to sample the four dishes of the chefs for FREE. Aside from that, there was also a curated selection of concessionaires to complement the mix of a delicious food culture and innovation being cultivated in the event where guests can buy and try their menu—not to mention the cheerful melodies of Tandems ’91 and Jensen and the Flips. Some of the foods sold by the concessionaires in the event were Wagyu beef from Primo Wagyu, flavorful pop from Ice Pops MNL, and good-for-you burgers from Down to Earth.
It was a hot, sunny afternoon filled with sumptuous food and wonderful music plus a live cooking demo show to teach the guests some recipes of the signature dishes created by the chefs using McCormick’s recipe mixes and seasoning blends as the base and show how easy it is to be replicated at home. People also got a chance to buy some McCormick products sold at the event as well and got some loot bags and freebies from McCormick and F&B report.
McCormick Flavor Nation Festival 2017 was indeed a celebration of food, music, and good times for families, foodies, food business owners, food bloggers, chef wanna-be, aficionados, and homemakers alike in a fun, friendly setting that captures the essence of McCormick’s meal recipe mixes. This event was co-presented by F&B Report and held at Bonifacio Highstreet Amphitheater. I would like to thank F&B Report for inviting me to this annual food festival.
