The famous and cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant in Singapore, Hawker Chan, opened its first-ever branch in the Philippines, thanks to FOODEE Global Concepts Inc. Founded by Malaysian Chef Chan Hong Meng, Filipinos can now enjoy the famous soya chicken rice anytime at Hawker Chan.

The story of Hawker Chan
Chef Chan Hong Meng is a son of a farmer. He flew to Singapore and got trained by a Hong Kong chef who mentored him in preparing the now famous Singapore Soya Sauce Chicken and Noodle. His first store was opened in 2009 at the Chinatown complex, the largest open-air hawker center in Singapore.
In July 2016, Hawker Chan received its first Michelin star and was recognized as the cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant in the world. This month, the restaurant got its third consecutive Michelin star and opened its first ever store in the Philippines at SM Mall of Asia.
What to eat
Diners will get to enjoy the famous dishes from the signature combination platter of char siew, roasted pork and pork rib to a whole chicken platter. You may opt to choose between rice or noodles for your meal set. What makes it more exciting is that the price ranges from PHP 100 to PHP 150 only!
