Check Out These 2018 Limited Edition Jersey Collection of Ginebra San Miguel

Calling all Ka-Barangay Ginebra fans! Ginebra San Miguel recently launched their limited edition 2018 Ginebra Ako jersey collection which will be worn by the team in the upcoming 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup starting April 2018. We all know that for the past forty years, the jerseys have been part of the representation of the team which embodies the philosophy that they practice – from the colors to the sewn patches, from its decorated histories to its virtues. Every jersey collection showcases a remarkable Ginebra stories like winning their first PBA title in 1986 PBA Open Conference and the 2016 PBA Governor’s Cup Championship after an eight-year title drought.

 

On this year’s Ginebra Ako jersey collection, Ginebra San Miguel, Inc. would like to make the “Never Say Die” spirit more meaningful which the whole community is proud of. They used the term “Ginebra Ako” to signify the team’s resilience, determination, and perseverance throughout the forty years of playing in the PBA. Some notable designs can be found on the jersey as well – the four stars which represents the four decade stay of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the PBA; and the crown which symbolizes the team’s domination in both realms of basketball and the hard liquor industry (being the undisputed no. 1 selling gin in the world). The collection has five collectible jersey designs to choose from – Japeth Aguilar 25, Scottie Thompson 6, LA Tenorio 5, Greg Slaughter 20, and Mark Caguioa 47.

2.Check the Patch of Authenticity which has an embroidered signature of Coach Time Cone.

3.Look for the “Never Say Die” patch located on the backside of the jersey
