Metro Community Bazaar Happening In Alabang Town Center Until July 31
Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (MRSGI) celebrates National Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) month this July 1-31 through hosting a Metro Community Bazaar
In cooperation with Vicsal Foundation, Inc., the non-stock, non-profit private domestic corporation that champions the CSR initiatives of the Vicsal Group of Companies, Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. (MRSGI) and Alabang Town Center have joined together to host a month-long Metro Community Bazaar. This project aims to help uplift poor communities by selling premium social good products from July 1-31, 2019 at Metro Supermarket Alabang, Muntinlupa.
Metro Community Bazaar will feature products from MRSGI partners such as the upcycled accessories from the Artisan Women of Tondo, an economic empowerment program supported by The Coca-Cola Company; delectable food products from Caritas Margins, and Moringa Tea and Powder products from GreenEarth Foundation, Inc. Also featured at the event are the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Caritas Segunda Mana, Coca-Cola Philippines, Habitat for Humanity Philippines, Philippine Red Cross, and St. Arnold Janssen Kalinga Center.
Caritas Margins provides skills and entrepreneurship training to urban poor communities and members of various marginalized sectors. Below are some of the food products created by Caritas Margins.
