Tus, A Must-Visit Cozy Spanish Restaurant In The South

Situated in Westgate Center, Alabang, Tus’ Clay Pots and Skillets Restaurant has been the favorite go-to place of the southies for modern European cuisine. Whether with their families or friends, its homey vibe brings everyone together for a European food adventure. Tus’ is owned by best friends Maricar Sason and Chef Krsna Algenio who first met in high school playing softball and both grew up in Alabang.

In case you don’t know, Tus is a Spanish term for yours. Tus’ is the home of the famous half-baked cookie which is also a must-try! We started our Tus’ experience with the Spinach chips adds Chicken & Cheese Flautas which tasted pretty great. One must not leave Tus’ without trying their signature pot pie. We tried the Chicken Ranch which is a must try pot pie. We love how cheesy it is and the freshness of the pizza dough. It was perfect and good for sharing.

Tus’ is also known for its unique rib eye steaks. We tried the Spicy Lemon Pesto which is a rib-eye steak topped with sauteed garlic pesto, chili, and a slice of lemon. I like how the chili and lemon blends in the steak.

We also tried the mouthwatering Sizzling Porchetta. It’s my personal favorite. I love how the pork was perfectly cooked that it can almost melt in your mouth. The sound of its crispiness was so satisfying. And the sauce, it perfectly added a wonderful flavor in the pork.

For pasta, we tried the famous Fideua Negra. A squid-inked pasta made cooked with seafood broth and topped with shrimp, clams, squid, aioli, and lemons. It’s also a must try when dining at Tus’.

And of course, the dining experience will never be complete without a dessert! We tried the famous half-baked cookie for dessert. It actually comes in different flavors and we opted to try the peanut butter one. The half-baked cookie is perfectly paired with a scoop of ice cream, the combination is perfect! No wonder it’s famous, it tastes great.
